LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI)—Victory Christian Center in West Lafayette is extending a helping hand to the community. Wednesday morning the center welcomed 80 pallets with more than 9,000 wipes. The center is teaming up with disaster relief organizations out of Tulsa, Oklahoma and South Carolina.

This is the first year the center is working to bring similar resources to the area. Member Brad Marchel said the goal is to start a network with local organizations to provide certain supplies for people in Greater Lafayette.

"The whole ultimate goal is to get it into the hands of the everyday person just so that we can work together and get through this season that we are in as a country together," said Marchel.

Marchel said for more information call Victory Christian Center at (765) 447-7777.
