The entire viewing area has been put under a Slight Risk for Severe Weather by the Storm Prediction Center for this afternoon and evening. We'll be faced with yet another organized line or bow of storms that may produce strong straight line winds in excess of 60 mph, hail larger than an inch in diameter and isolated rotation embedded within the line. We may see a few isolated showers and thunderstorms pop up during the early afternoon but the main event will hold off until 7:00 pm or so. The line seems as though it may exit the viewing area as early as 9:00 pm, but scattered showers and thunderstorms are expect throughout the night, especially fro our northern counties. Another day brings another chance for Severe Weather; there's another Slight Risk for tomorrow afternoon and evening as well. Storms will line up ahead of a cold front tomorrow; the main threats from these storms will once again be strong winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes.
