(CNN) — Witnesses give a first-hand account of the tornado that ripped through the Moore, Okla., area on May 20, 2013.
The tornado is reported to have been as much as as mile wide with winds up to 200 mph. In its wake, buildings were set on fire, an elementary school took a direct hit and entire neighborhoods were flattened.
