WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Harrison High School's Athletic Department announced Saturday that they will recommend to the Tippecanoe School Corporation’s Board of School Trustees that the contract of head football coach Tony Martin, not be renewed.
Martin has been the head coach of the Raider football program for the past four seasons and compiled at record of 3-37. Prior to being named the head coach, Martin had served as an assistant coach for several seasons. Martin will continue to teach in the Social Studies department at Harrison.
"The department feels that this is the time for a new direction for our program," said athletics director Jerry Galema.
The Harrison administrations’ recommendation will be presented to the Tippecanoe School Corporation’s Board of School Trustees at their November meeting.
