WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The Legal Aid Corporation of Tippecanoe County is hosting a five-kilometer run-walk to raise money for its non-profit organization, which provides private legal representation for those that might not be able to afford it.
The run walk is Saturday, May 18 at nine a.m. at the Tippecanoe County Amphitheater Park and you can register online at www.onestoprace.com or www.franklinfinish.com.
Those interested can also register the morning of the race from 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Race organizer Matt Laydon says that the venue is a big reason why he's excited about the event.
"Going out there is worth the cost of admission alone. It's just gorgeous out there," Laydon said. "If you're used to running 5K's or mini-marathons or whatever on pavement, this would be a change of pace for you."
The entry fee is 25 dollars per participant.
