LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - McCutcheon's Logan Sowers verbally committed to play baseball at Indiana University.
Sowers announced the news via his twitter account.
"The reason that I committed was because its close to home, so my family could come and watch me play," said Sowers. "The coaches at IU are great. They made it to the CWS this year and I think we have a great chance to there again."
As a junior, Sowers hit .318 with five home runs and 18 RBI's. He earned All-Hoosier Crossroads Conference honors.
