WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The No. 71 Purdue men's tennis team will host the No. 52 Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday at the Schwartz Tennis Center at noon ET.
The Boilermakers and Razorbacks will meet for the fourth time in series history. The Razorbacks lead the series 2-1, though Purdue won the last meeting a year ago on the road, 5-2.
Purdue (9-2) is coming off a pair of 7-0 victories last weekend against Wright State and Valparaiso. The Boilermakers are 2-2 against ITA ranked teams this year, including victories against then No. 51 Brown and No. 49 Darthmouth. Purdue is led by junior Aaron Dujovne who is 7-1 in singles play this year. Krisztian Krocsko has also had some early season success with a 7-2 singles record of his own. Purdue has been victorious in every match when it wins the doubles point. The Boilers' doubles team of Dujovne and Diego Acosta is 8-2 on the season.
Arkansas (10-3) is coming off a 2-1 weekend. Arkansas fell to 17th-ranked Tulsa on Friday before dominating UMKC and Oral Roberts on Sunday. The Razorbacks are led by Victor Hoang, who is 8-1 in singles play dual matches. Arkansas' doubles team of Michael Knott and Hoang are 4-1 on the season.
Following the match, the team will host an ITA Campus Kids Day Clinic and an autograph session. Fans will have an opportunity to meet their favorite Purdue players and coaches.
