LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Lafayette Post 11 picked up the 12-9 win over Highland in game one of the Lafayette American Legion Post 11 Baseball Tournament on Friday.
Post 11's Justin Curry went 4-5 at the plate with four RBI's and two runs. Curry also had a double and triple in the win.
Post 11's Pete Metzinger went 2-3 at the plate.
Lafayette was set to face Logansport in game two. However, due to the weather the game was postponed until Saturday at 9:00 am.
Post 11 will then face Valparaiso at 11:00 am and Richmond at 5:00 pm on Saturday at Loeb Stadium.
