MIAMI, Fla. (WLFI) - LeBron James converted on a layup at the buzzer in overtime to lift the Miami Heat to a 103-102 overtime victory over the Indiana Pacers in a thrilling Game One of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Paul George had given the Pacers a 102-101 when he made three free throws with 2.2 seconds remaining. George, who led the Pacers with 27 points, also forced the game to overtime when he made a three-point field goal with :00.7 remaining in regulation.
James led all scorers with 30 points.
David West added 26 points for the Pacers, 18 of the points coming in the first half. Pacers' center Roy Hibbert chipped in with 19 points.
Game Two of the best-of-seven series will be Friday night in Miami.
