LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Megan Albregts signed a National Letter of Intent with Concordia University in Chicago.
The Centre-back announced her intent to continue her soccer career at the collegiate level in front of family and friends at McCutcheon High School on Thursday afternoon.
The Cougars are members of the Northern Athletic Conference (NCAA III) and lead under the direction of Head Coach Thomas Goines.
Megan is the daughter of Mark and Luann Albregts. She has earned three varsity letters in soccer at McCutcheon.
Megan helped lead a defense that only allowed 26 goals, fewest all time in McCutcheon history. She was an all-area player in 2012, and also Academic All State with a 3.80 GPA.
Megan is also a member of the IHSAA McCutcheon Student Leadership Group.
