WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Sports 18 confirmed that Purdue center Sandi Marcius has requested his release from the men's basketball team.
The release would allow Marcius to play one more season for another program. Marcius can graduate from Purdue this summer.
Marcius played in 29 games this season for the Boilermakers. He started in five of those games. He averaged 3.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per contest.
