WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Sophomore forward Jacob Lawson has requested and been granted a release from his scholarship, Purdue head men's basketball coach Matt Painter announced Friday.
"We enjoyed having Jacob as a member of our program for two years," Painter said. "He's a quality young man and we wish him the best moving forward."
The Reidsville, N.C., native played in 58 games for the Boilermakers, averaging 2.3 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest.
