WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Purdue head football coach Darrell Hazell announced on Monday that tight end Gabe Holmes will miss the rest of the season.
Holmes had surgery to repair his dislocated wrist. Justin Sinz will now start at tight end for the Boilers.
Holmes is still a candidate for a medical redshirt.
In two games this season, Holmes had caught nine passes for 69 yards.
