The Eagles announced at a press conference Wednesday afternoon that they hired J.D. Feaster as the schools new girls' hoops head coach.
"This is my dream job, at 27 years old not to many people are in my shoes right now to be a varsity head coach. I plan on working hard and representing every young coach out there trying to make it as well. I am going to do the best I can for the Lord," said Faith Christian head coach JD Feaster.
Feaster takes the head coaching post at Faith Christian from Lynn Heusinger.
The Eagles finished 11-11 in Heusinger's third and final season as the Eagles' head coach, as Faith Christian posted a huge victory over Clinton Prairie at the Rossville Sectional before being eliminated in the sectional semifinals.
"It's really great, we are all looking forward to the changes that he is going to implement and I think we are definitely going to bring it up a level and I think we are going to be able to compete more readily with bigger schools and we think it's going to be a really great season," said Faith Christian junior Sydney Laughlin.
"It's going to be different from what we are used to but it's going to be a good thing and bring a whole other aspect to our team and I know every single girls is excited," said Faith Christian junior Sierra Wilson.
