Purdue football sophomore to be and former Central Catholic Knights' star Danny Anthrop has been cleared to take part in full participation workouts, six weeks earlier than expected.
Anthrop had been in limited drills during spring practice after undergoing surgery on his left ankle in February.
Earlier this week Anthrop ran the second fastest 10 yard dash time on the entire team with a blistering 1.56. Only Rob Henry ran faster than Antrhop when he was clocked at 1.54.
In three months following surgery, Anthrop has gotten back to work in the weight room and improved his squat max to 475 pounds.
Anthrop rushed for a touchdown and caught a touchdown pass during his freshman season while also playing special teams on the kickoff coverage unit.
