PLAINFIELD, Ind. (WISH) - The man who was fatally shot by Plainfield police Tuesday has been identified as Eric William Allen Poore, 27, from Lafayette.
Investigators said Poore raised his gun at the officers during a home invasion robbery in the 200 block of Andrews Street. That's when they shot him.

Another man, Justin Pearson, was arrested and was in the Hendricks County Jail as of Thursday.
Police say Pearson has been preliminarily charged with two counts of robbery, a Class B felony; two counts of criminal confinement, a Class B felony. A firearm enhancement has been filed. That may lead to a fixed prison sentence.
