INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indiana Department of Education has hired a third party to review ISTEP results, after glitches arose during spring testing this year.
Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz made the announcement on Monday.
Educators around the state had worried the problems that came up during testing could impact the reliability of results. Online test-takers were knocked off line multiple times during the spring test. It prompted schools to test a smaller number of students at one time and extended the testing window.
