A major campus street is closing Friday for the Starry Nights Arts and Music Festival.
Northwestern Avenue closed early Friday afternoon from Columbia to State streets and will be closed all night.
South Street from Northwestern to Chauncey avenues is also closed.
With this evening's festival comes large amounts of people in and around the Chauncey Hill and Village area of West Lafayette.
Police are asking that drivers use extra caution as they pass through the area.
Donations are needed for Food Finders Food Bank to aim at matching a grant that would match funds up to $20,000.
