After walking 10 plus more miles a day, they knock on doors asking residents if they can pitch a tent in their yard. They say many people along the way have been supportive and even donated money to the cause. Their journey started in Connecticut and will end in Huntington Beach,California sometime in January 2014. The trip is a distance of nearly 4,000 miles.
