The United Way campaign helps fund 23 health and human service organizations in Tippecanoe County.
"We really can't afford to not hit our target because what that means is there are services that can't be provided and that these services would be somewhat underfunded. Our concern has to be great," said Gatmaitan.
Another meeting will be held next Thursday to update the campaign's progress.
