EDNA MILLS, Ind. (WLFI) - A Travel Advisory was issued at approximately 4 a.m. Friday after high water covered several roads in Clinton Co.
According to the Clinton Co. Sheriff's Office, travel is not restricted but drivers are asked to travel at their own risk. High water covered State Road 26 in Edna Mills Friday morning but despite the advice from authorities to avoid drivers crossing flooded roads, News 18 caught several vehicles of all sizes trying to push through.
Homes in Edna Mills were also blocked by the rising water, forcing residents to stay inside until the water recedes.
Deputies said they responded to numerous calls regarding submerged vehicles as of midnight. None of the calls turned out to be any life threatening situations.
