TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - County Health Officer Dr. Michael Bohlin is stepping down from his position.
According to Health Department administrator Ron Cripe, Bohlin is leaving the position after eight years to focus on family and other professional obligations.
No official resignation date has been set.
The Board of Health has scheduled an Executive Session for March 13 to discuss and interview prospective replacements.
Afterwards, a public meeting will be held where a new Health Officer may be voted on.
