WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A man was arrested at a party early Saturday morning after deputies say he shot his gun into the air.
Tippecanoe County Sheriff Tracy Brown said it all happened at the Willowbrook Apartment complex in West Lafayette just after 1 Saturday morning.
According to Brown, a fight reportedly broke out at a party hosted by 21-year-old Matthew Miguest.
Brown said during the fight, Miguest reportedly fired a round into the air from his handgun.
Brown said no one was injured during the incident. Brown said Miguest was taken into custody and faces a preliminary charge of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
