CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A semi carrying pot ash ended up in a ditch in Clinton County Thursday morning after the driver tried to give oncoming traffic more space.
The Clinton County Sheriff's Office said a driver was heading west on State Road 28 around 7 a.m.
Deputies said the driver told them it was raining heavily, so he moved the semi to the right to put more room between his vehicle and oncoming traffic.
They said he went too far and ended up with the semi on its side in a ditch.
The driver received a minor laceration but refused treatment at the scene.
Deputies said State Road 28 will be closed for clean-up from County Road 1000 West to County Road 180 South until sometime Thursday afternoon.
