TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - An attempted U-turn by a semi driver went sour and backed up traffic in Tippecanoe County Tuesday.
Indiana State Police troopers say just before noon, a semi tractor-trailer was going to turn south on US Highway 231 from River Road, but was in the wrong lane.
The semi had to go straight on South River Road and the driver told troopers he realized he had to turn around. When he tried to do so, one of the truck's tires launched off the ground and the semi somehow got stuck.
A wrecker pulled up just before 12:30 p.m. to help the semi.
There were no injuries.
