DAYTON, Ind. (WLFI) - A school bus crash in Dayton sent two students to the hospital Monday afternoon.
Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Deputies said it all happened as the bus was preparing to stop.
Deputies said a car, driven by 17-year-old Justin Zeller, took a wide turn as it pulled onto Adams Road.
Zellers hit a Tippecanoe School Corporation bus, driven by 72-year-old William Otten, not far from State Road 38.
Deputies said two students were sent to the hospital with minor injuries. Their names are being withheld.
The rest of the children were released to their parents, who were told to gather at the Masonic Temple in Dayton.
The crash is still under investigation.
