MONTICELLO, Ind. (WLFI) - A Schererville man is found guilty for his role in a Monticello murder.
After four and a half hours of deliberation Thursday night, a jury found Ray Chamorro guilty for the murder of 29-year-old Tye Rentfrow.
In October of last year, Rentfrow was shot and killed at a home on West Washington Street.
White County Sheriff Pat Shafer said the jury was selected on Monday and testimony was heard until Thursday afternoon. He said the jury reached their verdict around 9 p.m.
Sentencing is set for Aug. 22.
