MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Five nurses were injured — one critically — Thursday afternoon after a golf cart crashed at Bradford Woods in Martinsville.
Bradford Woods is outdoor center owned by Indiana University. It's used for various group events.
Shay Dawson, director of Bradford Woods, said the cart was carrying five nurses from area hospitals. The golf cart was going down a paved road at the facility when it rolled onto its side and ejected the nurses.
All of the nurses were taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital, with one being transported via medical helicopter. The hospital said one patient was in critical condition, three were in good condition and one was still being evaluated just after 3:30 p.m.
The nurses were there working for the camp.
