A line of strong storms moved though the viewing area this afternoon.
There are reports of fallen limbs, including a tree that fell over parts of Northwestern and Cherry Ln. According to West Lafayette Police, traffic is being diverted around the fallen tree.

According to WLFI Chief Meteorologist Chad Evans, severe gusts and heavy rain would be the main threat from the squall line.
