LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Dozens of people gathered outside of Matrix Pregnancy Center Sunday afternoon to march to the neighboring Planned Parenthood abortion clinic.
Clergymen from five different churches were also present to lead a prayer vigil.
Organizers said the Lafayette rally is one of hundreds going on nationwide.
Throughout the country, volunteers will sit and pray outside of abortion clinics for 40 days.
Organizers say they plan on praying outside of Planned Parenthood from 7 am. to 7 p.m. until November 3.
The goal of the event is to save as many lives as possible and to some day put an end to abortions in Lafayette.
