Lafayette, Ind. (WLFI) - Two thousand crosses on Purdue's campus represented the 4,000 abortions that happen every day in the U.S.
The Purdue students for life organization is putting on the day long presentation. Organization member Anna Held said each cross represents two lives lost to abortion.
Held said student reaction to the demonstration has been positive.
"It opens their eyes to what's happening through abortion. It causes it to be more of a reality for them," said Held.
Volunteers are passing out flyers for students to learn more about abortion and ways to seek help if you are pregnant.
