LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Lafayette police said residents should avoid areas along State Road 26 east, east of I-65, on Sunday.
According to police, a major power outage caused homes and businesses to lose power.
Police said they were working with Duke Energy to get power restored. Police said it could take up to 3 hours to fully restore power. Police said residents could expect power to return sometime around 10:30 Saturday night.
According to police, there is no news as to what caused this outage.
