LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A pedestrian was sent to the hospital after police said he was intentionally hit by a vehicle.
Lafayette Police said it all happened around 7 p.m. Tuesday at 12th and Brown streets. Police said after an argument, Marcella Griego struck a man with her vehicle.
Police aren't releasing the man's name but said he was taken to Franciscan St. Elizabeth East with cuts from the windshield glass.
Griego was taken into custody on a preliminary charge of criminal recklessness with a vehicle.
A female passenger was in the car and was taken to Franciscan St. Elizabeth Central with unknown injuries.
