WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - After a gravel truck overturned in White County, emergency crews tended to the scene of the crash.
According to White County sheriff's dispatchers, a report came in just before noon Wednesday of a gravel truck that had rolled over near U.S. Highway 421 and County Road 375 North.
Crews on the scene tell our WLFI crew that around 11:45 a.m., the driver of the gravel truck had to slow down for traffic. The driver said when he couldn't slow down soon enough, he left the roadway to avoid hitting other vehicles.
The driver told crews that's when the truck flipped.
Crews say the driver was not injured, but traffic in that area has slowed and crews have limited 421 down to one lane as they clean up the crash scene.
Crews say they hope to have the road opened back up by 4 p.m.
