TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A 74-year-old man is dead after his car crashed with a farming tractor and another vehicle Thursday night on State Road 25 in Tippecanoe County.
Investigators said West Point man Jack Kelsey was driving a minivan west on 25 when it hit a tractor pulling a disk ripper, which then veered into the eastbound lanes of 25, hitting a pickup truck. Here's our original story.
Just after 3:30 Friday afternoon, the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office released information that Kelsey had died of his injuries from the crash.
Officials say he died at 6:26 a.m. Friday.
The farming equipment driver was taken to IU Health Hospital in Lafayette and the pickup driver was uninjured.
Deputies said drugs and alcohol do not appear to have been a factor.
