TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - According to the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office, an off-duty Lafayette firefighter and his daughter were involved in a crash late Saturday night.
Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Lt. John Ricks said the call came in just before 11:30 p.m.
According to Ricks, a car driven by 19-year-old Nayahana Yates of Lafayette was traveling north on County Road 900 East near State Road 38, when Yates failed to stop at a stop sign.
Yates hit a car traveling west on State Road 38 toward Dayton. That car was driven by off-duty Lafayette Firefighter Michael Stull, 41. Stull's 8-year-old daughter was also in the car, and sustained minor injuries.
Ricks said there were three other passengers in Yates' car.
Ricks said all five involved were taken to either St. Elizabeth East Hospital, or IU Clarian Hospital, with minor injuries.
