ATTICA, Ind. (WLFI) - A family's cat may be to blame for a fire that destroyed an Attica home Monday afternoon.
Crews on the scene said it started around 2:30 p.m. on East Jackson Street.
Firefighters say the cause is still under investigation, but they believe a cat knocked over a lamp, sparking the fire.
People were home at the time, but everyone – including the cat – got out safely.
