CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A motorcyclist was airlifted from a crash Monday afternoon in Carroll County.
According to Carroll County Sheriff Tony Burns, just before 1:50 p.m. dispatchers received a report of a one-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.
Investigators say the driver, 43-year-old Brent A. Matthews of Delphi, was traveling at high speeds on County Road 300 West near State Road 218 when he lost control.
Matthews was airlifted to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis for his injuries.
As of late Monday night, he was listed in critical condition.
The crash is still under investigation, pending toxicology reports.
