MONTICELLO, Ind. (WLFI) - A murder trial has been put on hold for a man accused of stabbing his mother and young half-sister to death in February.
According to White County court documents, a judge has determined 20-year-old David Rodenbarger is not mentally competent to stand trial.
Documents state Rodenbarger was transported to Logansport State Hospital where he'll undergo treatment.
Rodenbarger is accused of killing his 6-year-old half sister, Jillian Haskins, and his 41-year-old mother, Michelle Haskins, inside their Monticello home in February.
The judge will get an update on his status in May.
