LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Just before 9 p.m. Friday police say 22-year-old Lorenzo Motton of Lafayette walked into St. Elizabeth East emergency room and and told officials he has been stabbed.
Motton told Lafayette Police Department investigators he confronted 18-year-old Elias Zamot of Lafayette over the theft of his moped. Motton told police Zamot stabbed him twice in the stomach with a pocket knife at Comfort Keepers at 1803 S. Creasy Lane. Motton left the scene to seek treatment at St. Elizabeth East hospital.
Zamot was later located by the Lafayette Police Department and taken into custody without incident.
