A Lafayette man is airlifted after crashing his motorcycle in Tippecanoe County Friday night.
Deputies said it all happened around 6:45 p.m., west of Stockwell on E 900 S. They said Harold Bass, 39, was westbound on 900 when he went off the road and crashed his motorcycle.
Deputies said he was airlifted from the scene and taken to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. As of 11:15 p.m. Friday, deputies said he was listed in critical condition. Deputies said they did not find a helmet at the scene of the crash.
Deputies said the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash.
