WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Personal assistants aren't just for celebrities anymore. Infact, one local woman has turned running errands for other peopleinto a full-time career.

Meet Cathy Turner, the Ideal Concierge.
"I'll run errands; get groceries, put them up; drop off drycleaning; go the post office; make calls for people who don't havetime to make during the day," Turner said.
Turner started her company in Lafayette with the idea ofbringing peace to people's lives. Clients like Marga Snyder saidTurner has done that, and so much more.
"When you work full-time, and you have kids and a house andother things that you are involved in life, there is just no timeto make phone calls, and all the little extra things that come up,"Snyder said.
She said Turner has helped her with everything from travelarrangements to online banking.
"I can give her anything to do and she doesn't turn her nose upat anything," Snyder said.
The task clients ask Turner to do most frequently? The laundry.But she said every client's needs are different. She charges about$20 an hour for her services.
"I basically go into the home and see what the family needs,"Turner said.
Turner said she wants her clients to be able to spend more timedoing what makes them happy. Whether it is going to the gym,reading a book or enjoying a meal together. She said makingsomeone's life easier brings her more joy than she everimagined.
