LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Lafayette police responded to the scene of a bank robbery in Lafayette.
Police said a black male, medium to thin build and approximately six feet tall, entered the Regions Bank at the intersection of Union and 30th streets and demanded money. The call came in around 10 a.m.
The man wore a bandana around his face and did not display a weapon, but told tellers he had one. He got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police said witnesses could not tell which way he left, or if he left on foot or in a car. No one was injured.
