LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - The Lafayette Jefferson High School principal is expected to be named the next superintendent of the Clinton Central School Corporation.
Lafayette School Corporation Superintendent Les Huddle said Jeff Studebaker announced last week he was leaving LSC. Clinton Central School Board President John Crum told News 18 that the board will vote Monday night to make Studebaker superintendent.
As for Lafayette Jeff, Huddle said the corporation has been accepting applications for a week and will stop at the end of June. He said they hope to have a candidate selected by late July.
"The administrative team there and all the staff will have the opportunity to maybe to meet the new candidate, either he or she, informally. Then we can start off the school year without missing a beat," said Huddle.
Dr. Celia Shand retired from Clinton Central at the end of the school year.
News 18's calls to Studebaker Tuesday afternoon were not returned.
