LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Kids got the chance to create their own recipe and be entrepreneurs for the day selling lemonade. It's all part of the third annual Lafayette Lemonade Day. The hope is kids will learn how to manage their money. Ash Rubsam, a three year veteran of Lemonade Day, said he put a special twist on the lemony drink.
"I started off with thinking about regular lemonade and I said, 'Well I like fruit so maybe we can do some lemonade with fruit.' So we tested out lots of fruits and some didn't work and some did," Rubsam said.
Rubsam said he's not sure what he'll do with all the money he makes, but a portion will be donated to charity.
