CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - A Clinton County inmate was found dead inside his cell Sunday night.
Clinton County Sheriff Jeff Ward said it happened around just before 4:45 p.m.
He said a correctional officer was making his rounds, when he found 27-year-old Malcolm Adams dead inside his cell. Ward said they do not suspect foul play.
Ward said an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday morning. He said Adams had been in the Clinton County Jail since July.
Adams' sister told News 18 he was incarcerated for theft.
