Fowler, Ind (WLFI) - Benton County residents now have access to a new health clinic.
The Benton Health and Wellness Center held a ribbon cutting to officially open for business Tuesday.
The clinic is part of Indianapolis-based Novia Care Clinics.
The Benton County School Corporation and county government are partnering with Novia. They are making it available for free to their employees who are already enrolled in their insurance plan.
The facility is open to the public for a yearly fee of $480.
Benton Schools Superintendent Destin Haas said after paying the fee there are no additional costs to the patient.
"For example, the $480 was paid and I didn't have to go sit in a doctor's office and wait for a while before having the physical. And I didn't have to pay a deductible or co-pay or anything like that," said Haas.
The center is open three days a week and has two full-time physicians.
