MELLOTT, Ind. (WLFI) - A stabbing is under investigation in Fountain County after a boyfriend is airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital.
Sheriff Bill Sanders said it happened in Mellott around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. He said a boyfriend and girlfriend were fighting and the girlfriend stabbed the boyfriend in the upper chest.
Sanders said the man was airlifted to St. Vincent Hospital in serious condition.
He said at the time, no arrests were made.
