LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - It was all about the Wild Wild West at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds.
It was all for Subaru of Indiana Automotive's Wild Wild West Charity Games to help renovate South Tipp Park. SIA spokeswoman Jennifer McGarvey says they do a community fundraiser every year but this is the first year for the Wild Wild West theme.
The event a includes a Texas Hold'Em tournament, bingo tournament and a kids barn.
McGarvey says they're hoping to raise $100,000 for the park.
"There's some areas that really need some renovation. We're hoping to put a lot of interactive activities that will be accessible to all kinds of kids and a lot of it is to stem creativity as well. So it's going to be a unique park and kind of a premiere park people can come downtown with their family and enjoy a good time," said McGarvey
Animals from the Columbian Park Zoo were also at the event.
