WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - One person was sent to the hospital after a two vehicle crash in West Lafayette.
It happened around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Salisbury Street and Navajo Street.
West Lafayette Police Officer Mark Gosney said a white Lexus was heading south on Salisbury attempting to turn left onto Navajo.
Gosney said the female driver stopped due to a traffic backup, then failed to yield and crashed into a green Sebring headed north on Salisbury.
Gosney said the female driver of the Sebring was taken to IU Health Arnett hospital with a serious hand injury.
